@bradballard & I were on the verge of divorce not that long ago...⁣
⁣
Neither of us had been honoring each other’s love language.⁣
⁣
We were both actively collecting evidence to fuel our own narrative.⁣
⁣
Since neither of us was getting what he or I wanted, we both felt we were right & the other was wrong.⁣
⁣
As a matter of fact, consistently acknowledging each other’s love language has been one of our biggest challenges all throughout our relationship.⁣
⁣
But what’s also true is that we love each other deeply.⁣
⁣
We know we’re soulmates & also meant to be the biggest teacher for one another throughout this journey of lifelong partnership.⁣
⁣
We asked for support, both leaned into our edges, & chose to be responsible for what we’d generated individually & collectively.⁣
⁣
Little shifts started to occur. We recognized & celebrated the changes.⁣
⁣
This created compounded interest & momentum really began to pick up for us!⁣
⁣
I’m a straight shooter. Marriage is NOT easy.⁣
⁣
Anyone who pretends that their union is great ALL the time is a big, fat liar liar👖🔥 :)⁣
⁣
But a soulmate partnership is worth the rollercoaster (if you can both navigate the ups & downs in an emotionally intelligent way).⁣

The inevitable dips make the upswings & peaks exhilarating. The challenges are what build character in a union.⁣
⁣
If you’re up against your edges with your partner, lean in.⁣
⁣
Be honest & responsible.⁣
⁣
Love yourself enough to express your innermost desires. It’s not wrong to want to be loved in a certain way.⁣
⁣
Don’t be afraid to ask for support & allow your community to reflect back what’s in y’all’s blindspots.⁣
⁣
There is no need to have shame about your challenges or hide them from the world.⁣

I have a STYE in my eye & I don’t know why… (new rap song about abundance - not styes 😂 is coming soon!), but I’m still enjoying my best life in paradise with my 🍯. ⁣

We took 2 delayed flights to Puerto Vallarta, drove 40 mins south to Boca de Tomatlan, & voyaged on a 20 min boat ride to Playa Isabel to finally 😅 arrive @veranayelapa. ⁣

We’re here to celebrate the union of @bradjbarnes & @itscassidycallan.⁣
⁣
We’re in absolute heaven on earth. ⁣
⁣
I didn’t realize that my soul needed to sleep in a bougie hut with no walls, on a king size bed with a mosquito net, and waking up naturally to café con leche with the ocean as our view.⁣

It’s been a full recharge so far & we haven’t even been here 24 hours yet.⁣
⁣
I’m prepping for Miss Cassidy’s bridal blessing tomorrow as she transitions from maiden to wife.⁣
⁣
It’s an honor to be holding this space for her as she embarks on her sacred journey of lifelong transformation called: marriage. 😍⁣

I’m so grateful for the blessings in my life from God/Universe/Source (aka GUS) that have allowed us to be here as our biggest Level 1 training @ascensionleadershipacademy since arriving in ATX is happening literally as I type this. 🤯⁣

Jett has been a roaring 2 year old for about a week, and he’s way too cool 😎, but still loves his mama more than anything.⁣

I’m so grateful that he also loves Jenny (our amazing nanny!) as much as he does so I can have a balanced life.⁣
⁣
She is a godsend!! She also speaks to Jett mostly in Spanish so my little man is bilingual!⁣
⁣
I also speak to him in both English & Spanish, and I feel solid in how we’re setting him up for life. ⁣
⁣
People often ask me how I do it all, and I say: “It all gets done, because I don’t do it all. I ask for support so I can truly have it all.”⁣
⁣
There is no way I/we could have accomplished everything in my life without the support of an amazing team - including mentors - in each area:⁣
⁣
Our relationship, all of our companies/brands, childcare + early education, health/wellness/rejuvenation, & the maintenance of our home + our legacy/finances. ⁣
⁣
Understanding this was a game changer for me. Systems, strategy, and staying in all of our respective zones of genius - that’s literally how WE do it all. ⁣

You can do anything, but not everything, at least not all at once. ⁣
⁣

For years I was on a constant man hunt. I couldn’t figure out why ALL of my relationships FAILED.⁣ 😭

I had this fantasy of being at farmer’s market & reaching for the same 🍎 as my destined soul mate. 😅 (SWOON)⁣

But that never happened.⁣
⁣
I thought I needed to be the one to find my person. I tried dating men who were very similar to me.⁣ I didn’t understand polarity AT ALL.
⁣
It wasn’t until I found myself in a training that changed everything for me. ⁣
⁣
I realized & discovered that I was already WORTHY of being FOUND by an incredible man who would love, honor, cherish, & respect me!⁣
⁣
I proclaimed this out loud to The Universe as I knew my partner would find me that same year.⁣
⁣
@bradballard found me on the good ol’ match dot com THREE DAYS later!⁣

Ladies, set the sword and armor down. End the pursuit.⁣

Trust that your person will find YOU when you claim that you’re already HER (the future version of yourself) NOW.⁣

Confession: I’ve recently realized something…⁣
⁣
I’ve noticed how often I just simply do things for my kids (put on shoes, get them dressed, arrange their food on a plate, brush their teeth, & the list goes on and on) because - let’s be honest - I’m clearly faster & more efficient.⁣
⁣
If you’re a parent, I’m sure you can relate to this. 🫠⁣
⁣
Jett commonly says: “I do!” (not sure where he learned that except I said the same damn thing when I was 2 - literally wanting to do everything on my own! 😂)⁣
⁣
At some point, they get to fully learn to do “all things human” without my assistance.⁣
⁣
I’ve been more and more intentional about allowing the time and space for my boys to lead themselves, even if they spill, put shoes on the wrong feet, or trip and fall down.⁣
⁣
We can’t prepare the road for our children, but we can prepare our children for the road.⁣
⁣
He’s also been saying: “I help!” as he wants to assist me in everything: making coffee, cooking, baking, getting myself dressed, and also doing my hair (even if it’s his own crazy design).⁣
⁣
This is supporting me in strengthening my own levels of surrendering, allowing, & being patient.⁣
⁣
This is a reminder that you’re already doing a PHENOMENAL job.⁣
⁣
We’re all just out here trying to figure out how to be the best parents we can be.⁣
⁣
NO ONE has it all figured out.⁣
⁣
